About Dr. Cheatwood

Long before earning her doctorate in osteopathic medicine, Crysten Cheatwood found herself on a path toward becoming a physician. At just 11 years old she was given the opportunity to help her mother’s OBGYN, Dr. David Kallenberger, during the birth of her little sister, an experience that ignited a passion for women’s health that she would continue to nurture. After spending many hours shadowing Dr. Kallenberger from that day onward, Crysten’s goal of becoming an OBGYN came into focus when she was accepted at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Eight years of medical training later, Crysten received a call in 2018 that would bring her story full circle: Dr. Kallenberger invited her to join his practice.

As a practicing physician, Dr. Cheatwood’s passion for obstetrics and gynecology remains as strong today as it was when she was just a keen, inquisitive 11-year-old. Driven by a desire to make genuine connections and become a trusted confidante for her patients, Dr. Cheatwood now lives her dream every day working to help women of all ages. From teenagers learning about sexual health, to new mothers, to women navigating menopause, Dr. Cheatwood brings her lifelong enthusiasm for women’s health to each appointment, ensuring her patients’ comfort and safety while empowering them with knowledge.
